Video Tech

Since 2021

Who I am:

I was born and raised here in Oklahoma City. I graduated from Carl Albert High School and then moved to Edmond to attend and graduate school at UCO. It was in my college years whenever I started attending Edmond Fellowship just right before the church became Bridgeway Church.

Over the years and off and on, I have been a part of the events childcare team here at Bridgeway. Although, around 2008 to 2009, God called me into a new role here at Bridgeway. I received training to run lyrics and slides for Sunday morning worship services. Let’s skip a few years and there was a need to hire a video tech for the extra events at Bridgeway. In 2021, I was permanently hired for this role to be video tech.

Outside of Bridgeway, I work as a nanny for a family and a preschool teacher at a children’s day out program.

Whenever I am not working (although, I have been paid for some of my hobbies), I love to dabble in photography (some of my works have been sold and I have some photos displayed in the men’s bathroom). Also, I have played piano and taught as well. I have been on the worship team too.

What I do:

I am passionate about my role here at Bridgeway because I love to witness God (The Holy Spirit) move in the services. Also, I just love this role as video tech. It just comes naturally for me and it is an easy way to serve the body at Bridgeway.

What God did:

There was a time in my life, I struggled with depression (mostly in my college years) and I almost walked away from my relationship with God. But God spoke to me and led me in a direction that led me to Him and it solidified my need to get to know God deeply and His Word. Since then, I have found freedom from my depression and over the years I have seen Him work in powerful and miraculous ways.
