Expand to Exalt

Due to your faithful giving, we were able to pay the remaining balance on the E2E fund in December 2017, and we are entering 2018 completely debt free! Thank you for your generosity!

God has richly blessed Bridgeway Church in its now 20-year presence in the greater metropolitan Oklahoma City area. The greater blessing has been an increase in our knowledge and enjoyment of the saving grace and glory of Jesus Christ. But God has also blessed us with numerical growth such that our current facility has been stretched to the limit.

We are not interested in growth for growth's sake, far less in order to enhance our reputation in the community. We take seriously the name we have given to this project: Expand to Exalt (E2E). Our mission is to exalt Christ in the City and we believe it has been necessary to expand our boundaries in order to make this happen.

After much prayer, the Elders concluded that God was leading us to purchase a 6,700 square foot office building located 100 yards to the southeast of our current facility. We moved into this building in the fall of 2014 and soon began the renovation of the old office area of the main church building into an expanded front cafe and children's classrooms, which was completed in August of 2015.

We believe this expansion will enable us to more effectively exalt Christ in the City, will help us in the fulfillment of our ministry values of gospel-centered worship, discipleship, community, and mission, and is the most prudent use of our financial resources.

The Bridgeway Offices provide us with 15 offices, 5 restrooms, two kitchenettes, workroom and meeting areas, a large conference room, and our prayer room that can seat up to 60 people.

These renovations have provided us with four new classrooms for our 1st-5th graders, an expanded workroom for our BWKids Coordinators, the ability for our preschool classrooms to be arranged more effectively, a better-equipped classroom for our Wonderfully Made (special needs) ministry, and a much needed expanded front cafe.

The Scriptures tell us that generous, joyful giving is evidence of the grace of God working in us through the Holy Spirit (2 Cor. 8:1-5; 9:7). That is why we rejoice in this opportunity to more effectively fulfill our mission as a church. We look forward to hearing how you experience his grace and provision as you partner with us in this project!
