Who I am:
I have been married to Ashley for 17 years and we have 4 children together. We love to go on adventures together as a family and do things like hiking, going to the beach & exploring the mountains. I am grateful to get to play drums in worship because getting to play and make music is one of the joys of my life. I also enjoy playing basketball and have continued to fool myself that I can keep up with the young bucks. I'm a graphic designer and have owned my own (very) small company for over 13 years now and I enjoy getting to be a creator and am very fortunate to be able to work in a field I truly love and I am excited about.
What I do:
I am humbled and honored to be a part of the leadership of the church because I love Bridgeway, its pastoral team, and the people. I have seen much growth (personal and congregational) in my (over) 16 years of attending and being a member here and I am excited and hopeful to see what God has in store for us as a family of believers. My prayer is that God would be glorified in our body and we would be known as a church that loves like Jesus.
What God did:
I always thought I was "good enough" to earn God's favor. Everything was going pretty well for me until a personal tragedy touched my wife and me with our first pregnancy and my faith was strained. But God, in His divine mercy and grace, opened my eyes to see Him more fully and myself less. Because it's not about what I can do for Him, I now live with joy and walk in humble confidence that Christ's work (life, death & resurrection) is sufficient.
