Connections Assistant
Since 2024
Who I am:
I have lived in Oklahoma most of my life and as a kid my family would spend most summers traveling to Oregon and Washington to visit relatives. My husband Micah and I have been friends since we were kids and grew up going to church together. We started dating in 2017 and got married in 2021. Whenever we travel, we always try to go to an aquarium and unique mini-golf course! I also really enjoy video games and graphic design.
What I do:
I love connecting with and getting to know people! I want to know and love the people at Bridgeway better, and being the Connections Assistant is an opportunity to do exactly that.
What God did:
As a teenager, I struggled with a lot of depression, anxiety, and panic attacks. I was also a pastor's daughter and helped lead the church on top of helping raise my two sisters. There were not a lot of people in my life who could truly support me, so I turned to prayer. At the time, I wasn't sure what good praying would do but it was the only option I had so I that's what I did. I prayed for a lot of things for a long time, including my now husband. Over time, the Lord answered my prayers and I learned what real relationship with Him was like. Now when things are difficult and I am overwhelmed and anxious about a situation, I am reminded of how God answered my prayers as a teenager. Even though that time of my life was really difficult, I learned that God wants me to draw near to Him so He can provide the answers.
