Josh Pendleton-finalDeacon of Widows

Since 2020

Who I am:

I've been married to Selina for over ten years, and together we have two kids, Piper and Jude. When I'm not helping Selina chase the kids around, I work as an Architect here in Oklahoma City. I enjoy crafting things with my hands, hiking, fishing, and playing guitar.

What I do:

The Lord has used this opportunity of serving the widows and widowers to remind me of how much He loves each of them, and how He walks through all of life's joys and sorrows with us. There isn't any insignificant part of our life that He isn't familiar with or that isn't important to Him. Because he loves and serves me so well, I can joyfully serve someone who has a need.

What God did:

There once was a time in my life that I felt I was missing direction and adventure in life. But I learned to listen to the Father, and hear what direction and plans He had for me, and chose to trust Him and believe His path was the best for me. Now my life has depth and purpose, and I can see the Father's hand at work, directing my path behind and ahead!
