Executive Assistant to Andy Edwards, Pastor of Missions & Evangelism
I am one of 6 kids, born and raised in Oklahoma. I graduated from Oklahoma Christian University in 2013 after changing my major a million times (I don't know how they expect people to just pick one thing...). After college, I moved to England for two years to work for an organization that supports homeless people, and it was there that the Holy Spirit gripped my heart and opened my eyes to what it looked like to live missionally in my day-to-day life. Since then, I am on a journey of learning how to let the Spirit work through me in my relationships, with people I'm discipling, or with strangers I meet as I go about my day. It's SO FUN. I love coffee, houseplants, and laughing at jokes (even the ones that no one else finds funny). If you need an ego boost in the humor department, I'm your girl.
I learned from my parents early on that truly following Jesus meant giving up my own plans for my life in order to serve and obey God, and He has used every part of my story to prepare me for this role. We are all called to be on mission, whether that means taking the Gospel to our neighbors or to the world, so I am grateful for the opportunity to help inspire and equip all of Bridgeway to be obedient to that call.
