Who I am:

Rod and I married in 1977, we have three sons, and we're about to add the first granddaughter to all of our grandsons! I moved to Oklahoma from Texas in 2005 and am a retired middle school/high school choral music teacher. I enjoy singing Barbershop harmony in the group Sweet Adelines and love reading, architecture, and interior design.

What I do:

After being part of small groups all of our marriage, I strongly believe in the invaluable blessings that doing life closely together allows brothers and sisters of the body to experience. It is a joy to come alongside our Community Group leaders and offer a listening ear, encouragement, and support.

What God did:

My favorite Bible verses are Luke 10:19-20 - "Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven'.

As amazing as miraculous gifts and happenings are, we are reminded that the even more miraculous event is our salvation. Our eyes should, first and foremost, be focused on Jesus and what He did for us instead of the works that we can see with our eyes, as incredible as they may be. Truly, it is all about Him!!
