Timothy Tardibono

Deacon of Communion

Since 2025

Who I am:

I grew up in Bethany/Warr Acres and graduated from Putnam City H.S. I went to graduate school and law school in Virginia before moving up to Washington DC where I met Marilyn. We have four children in various stages of young adulthood.

What I do:

Serving communion is a reverent experience for me. The notion that God created a rescue plan to bring us back to Him that entailed becoming flesh and then letting himself be murdered still amazes me. That we would be able to participate in the regular remembrance of His rescue effort, is humbling.

What God did:

I grew up in a Christian home and felt close to God to varying degrees in my life but had a measuring stick over me that I never quite attained despite desire and effort. As an attorney, I couldn’t accept grace for a penalty I knew I deserved. Eventually God’s gentle persistence led me to embrace that grace and begin the day-by-day journey of sanctification.
