The student ministry exists to provide a gospel-centered, theologically rich, study of the Word of God, contextualized for 7-12th grade students. We emphasize both the authority of Scripture and the practice of spiritual gifts through studying God’s word, living in biblical community, and encountering God in worship.
Bridgeway's student ministry has four primary values that shape all we do: Word, Spirit, Culture, and Jesus.
Each week, we open Scripture and preach Jesus as the point of the text and the practical solution to our problems.
We pursue the Holy Spirit's gifts and power to live as Jesus commands.
We both compassionately critique the culture around us, and also create communities where the countercultural love of Jesus is demonstrated
Above all, our student ministry is always about Jesus.
We gather together Sunday nights from 6:00p-8:00p in the Backroom for a time of worship, Bible reading, and discussion.
Small Groups & Community Groups
Junior High Small Groups—After the sermon on Sunday nights, students break out into single-gender, age-specific groups to discuss the sermon.
High School Community Groups—High school students meet in community groups throughout the week. These groups mirror the rhythms of adult community groups. Students meet in homes throughout the city for discipleship in the context of community on mission.
