Everyone Plays

We believe that the ultimate goal of missions is that Christ would be known, praised, and enjoyed by all peoples of the earth. God calls us all to be on mission with him. Every Christian is called to participate in missions through prayer, sending, going, or learning.

We are called to pray actively for our city and the world, including local and global workers and unreached people groups. This is done both independently and corporately.

"And he said to them, 'The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.'"
Luke 10:2

How can I pray?

Pray for our city
Pray for the nations
Pray for unreached people groups

Bridgeway has many people whom we support—from global workers to local church planters. We partner with these people through prayer, support (financial, physical, and emotional), and by sending short-term mission teams to join them throughout the year.

"While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, 'Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.' Then after fasting and praying, they laid their hands on them and sent them off."
Acts 13:2-3

How can I send?

Join a short-term team as a sender

We are all called to go, whether overseas to unreached people groups or across the street to our own neighbors. There are countless ways to engage with those who are far from God in our own city and around the world.

"Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples!"
Psalm 96:3

How can I go?

We desire to be a part of God’s great story by equipping the church with hands-on training. Our goal is not that everyone becomes a full-time global worker, but that every believer recognizes the call to live on mission wherever they are.

"For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, 'How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!'"
Romans 10:13-15

How can I learn?
