Wonderfully Made Advocacy Team

Wonderfully Made is Bridgeway's special needs ministry that provides a sensory-safe classroom on Sunday mornings for kids and adults to engage with the Gospel in unique and individualized ways, as well as offer support, connection, and prayer beyond Sunday mornings.

As lovers of God and one another, we want everyone in our diverse spiritual family to feel seen, loved, connected, and valued. Living with differently-abled family members can present unique challenges and can sometimes feel isolating. The Wonderfully Made Advocacy Team is designed to intentionally bridge the gap of connecting to community and provide support where possible.

How can I serve?

There are two ways you can love and serve our Wonderfully Made families:

1) Join the Wonderfully Made Advocacy Team to be added to Care Portal (a group messaging system) to receive and respond to needs as they arise. You can pray, connect, and meet practical needs like meals, groceries, errands, respite, childcare, etc. as you are available, with no specific time commitments.

2) Become a Family Advocate and build a relationship with a specific family to be a bridge and help communicate their needs to the Advocacy Team. This position requests a 1-year commitment and regular checking-in.
