Bridgeway Church firmly believes the words in Psalm 139:14, “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made . . . “. As a Body, we believe that God makes no mistakes and that EVERY detail of our being was planned and created by Him for a purpose. We seek to love on ALL children the same way that Christ does and one of those ways is through our Wonderfully Made Childcare ministry. This ministry offers parents and guardians the opportunity to worship and be involved in the Sunday morning service, while their special-needs child is taken care of in a clean and safe environment. Wonderfully Made is for children with special needs of any kind. It is a safe place that is open and full of toys and activities that the children will enjoy. We use music, movement and vestibular stimulation in the room. While you are in the service, you can be assured that your child will be loved and taken-care-of!

The Volunteers in the Wonderfully Made room are familiar with children with disorders and disabilities of all kinds. Every week we have at least one medically trained volunteer in the room to ensure your child’s safety. Our volunteers consist of doctors, nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech Therapists, Special Education teachers, students in these areas, as well as people who have a heart for these special children.

When visiting the Wonderfully Made room, parents will be asked to fill out an information form on their child. You will be asked to list any conditions your child has, any meds that they currently take, and any other pertinent information that might be helpful during your child’s time in the Wonderfully Made room. We will also ask for the parent’s cell phone number so that you can be called if any problem arrives.
